BIS-NY Swim Gala Success!

The BIS-NY Swim Gala for years 3 to 7 took place on Thursday 29th April, at the Hunter College Swimming Pool facility. Every Student from the 5 different age groups participated in races for their respective Houses. The gala included races, individual and relay, of varied distance across the full range of competitive swim strokes.
The performances of all the students were commendable for different reasons, but every one of the students should feel proud of their achievements in the gala.
The results of the races were turned into points for the Houses, and the final result for the gala was as follows:

3rd place - Shakespeare

2nd place - Glennie

1st place - King
Huge thanks must go to Hunter College for letting us use the facility, Radenko Miskovic, David Cabrol and Jorge Cordona for their Swim instruction through the year; the Gala was a great exhibition of how much the children have improved.
Finally, special thanks to David and Radenko for giving up their time to help and support at the Gala and to all the students who participated with such skill in this year's event!
