‘KEEN TO BE GREEN’ is a new initiative since 2009 created by our Eco Committee, a group of teachers and administrators of BIS-NY currently consisting of Nicola Stewart, Michele Schwartz, Kim Simpson, Nicky Bernhardt and Inge Bader.

As a group we will be looking at how BIS-NY can be a green and eco conscious school. This section will be updated regularly with events and news about what is happening in the school related to BIS-NY’s ‘KEEN TO BE GREEN’ efforts. Some of the events will be driven by the Eco Committee, others from students and the curriculum.
