Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Computers and their applications are an integral part of everyone's daily life. Our students and even our youngest are no exception and ICT is integrated across the curriculum.
All of the classrooms have interactive white boards with touch-sensitive displays that connect directly to the class computer. Teachers can then use their fingers to control computer applications, write notes, pull up charts and images, search the Internet, play videos and enhance their lessons.
In addition there is a fully-resourced ICT suite and language lab situated in the River View Campus for scheduled time to hone ICT skills and work on class projects.
All students in Year 7 and above are provided with personal laptops at the start of the year for planning and developing solutions using a range of ICT tools and techniques; handling data, sequencing instructions and modeling, finding, using and communicating information, organisation skills for files and documents.
